What is naturopathy?
Naturopathic medicine is underpinned by centuries of traditional use and current scientific evidence. Naturopaths utilise nutrient and herbal supplementation, dietary and lifestyle changes to support the body and mind's natural ability to heal and return to balance.
Naturopaths aim to find and treat the cause of disease and view people as a whole being with the understanding that all parts are connected and all parts have an effect on another.
What should I expect in an initial appointment?
The purpose of the initial consultation is to gather in-depth information about your health picture so that your naturopath can gain an understanding of how your body is working and the causes and contributing factors to your symptom or conditions. What should I expect after an initial appointment?
After I have gathered plenty of information throughout the initial appointment I will then go away and do any research or test evaluation necessary. I will create a treatment plan and prescription for you which you will receive within 48 hours of your appointment.
